We had a long weekend of gathering, weaning, and football for the boys! We were lucky to have extra help with the cousins up for the weekend. It’s been a long dry summer but the cattle look good going into fall.

Jaxon was trying out his great granddads saddle when we were out looking for a few cows. The saddle must be around 100 years old and is still in pretty good shape.

We had to get a few cows in last weekend and we’re getting the horses in shape for this coming month. It will be a busy month trying to gather all the cows out of the mountains.
